The NBOME is pleased to announce nine open National Faculty leadership positions. The positions are three-year terms from 2024-2026, with a potential of one three-year renewal.

• COMAT Examination Chair - Psychiatry
• Competency Chair - Systems-Based Practice
• Department Chair - Emergency Medicine
• Department Chair - Family Medicine
• Department Chair - Surgery, Surgical Subspecialties, & Anesthesia
• Division Chair - Anatomy
• Division Chair - Genetics

The ideal candidates for these positions will be highly recognized within the profession and demonstrate familiarity with the NBOME, as well as its policies and processes; will have experience in item/case writing and examination review; and will recruit and mentor members of the National Faculty. This is open to all active National Faculty; however, those who are applying for clinical chair roles should be board certified in their area.
